Start with the product page.
Brands can cut and label sizes differently, so this page is a general guide rather than a substitute for a product-specific chart. If an item lists its own measurements, use those first.
How to measure
Use a soft tape measure over light clothing or underwear. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight.
Underbust
Measure directly under the bust. Keep the tape snug, but not tight.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Waist
Measure the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually around 1 inch above the navel.
Hips
Measure around the widest part of your hips and bottom, roughly 8 inches below the waist.
Height
Measure from the floor to the crown of your head without shoes. Especially useful for tights and bodystockings.

Use the tables below as a reference point. Bra shapes and brand grading vary, so always check any size information supplied on the product page.

Remember: bra sizing is not perfectly standardised between brands. If the product gives its own bra chart, use that chart instead of this general conversion.

One Size is not unlimited. Stretch helps, but it still has a fit range. Check the individual product measurements whenever they are provided.

Use dedicated plus-size measurements rather than assuming a One Size item will stretch beyond its intended range.

Hosiery sizing
For hosiery, height and the brand’s stated measurements are especially important. Use height and weight together where both are supplied.

How hosiery size labels work
Labels such as S/M, M/L, One Size and Queen are brand-specific. If a product includes its own hosiery chart, that chart takes priority over this general guide.
Height, weight, hips & leg length
Use height and weight together when both are given. Some brands also use hip, thigh, inside-leg or garment-length measurements, so follow the brand diagram or wording shown on the product.
Know the hosiery style
Hold-ups and stockings need a comfortable thigh fit; tights also need enough body rise; bodystockings combine torso and leg stretch, making height particularly useful.
Sister sizes are for bras
“Sister sizing” is a bra-fitting concept. It should not be used as a conversion rule for tights, stockings or bodystockings.
Brand & product-specific sizing
Many of our lingerie and hosiery brands use their own measurements or fit conventions. Where a product page includes brand-specific sizing, use that information first.
Best approach: take your measurements, compare them with the exact product chart, then consider the fabric and construction. Stretch mesh, adjustable straps and ties can offer more flexibility; structured or underwired pieces usually need a closer size match.
Quick fit tips
Small details can make a big difference when you are choosing between sizes.
If the product notes do not say otherwise, sizing up can be more comfortable in structured, lace or less-stretch styles.
Mesh and stretch fabrics can be forgiving, but always stay within the measurements stated for the item.
Check height alongside the brand’s other stated measurements rather than relying on dress size alone.
Adjustable or stretch styles may be easier to choose when you do not know the recipient’s exact measurements.
Do not treat One Size as “fits everyone”. Check the product page for the intended size or measurement range.
