Versace Eros Eau de Parfum

The Versace Eros EDT is one of the most recognisable men’s fragrances of the past fifteen years — that mint and green apple opening is immediately distinctive, and the fresh-spicy character made it a genuine mass-appeal hit. The Eros Eau de Parfum keeps that signature opening but shifts the whole fragrance towards a warmer, richer register. The mint is still there at the top, but it resolves more quickly into the heart, where Tonka Bean and Ambroxan take over. Tonka Bean brings a creamy, slightly sweet warmth that the EDT never reaches; Ambroxan — the same skin-reactive molecule used in Versace Eros Pour Femme — gives the EDP its depth and its staying power on skin.

The base of Madagascar Vanilla, Vetiver and Oak Moss is where this fragrance earns the EDP designation. Vetiver gives it an earthy dryness that stops the vanilla from becoming cloying; Oak Moss adds a subtle, slightly green complexity underneath everything. The result is a fragrance that retains enough freshness to work year-round and in daytime settings, but has considerably more substance than the EDT — it projects better, lasts longer, and develops more interestingly over the course of a wear. If you already own and wear the Eros EDT, the EDP is the grown-up version of the same fragrance rather than a replacement for it. How to Apply

Apply to pulse points — neck, wrists, chest. Two to three sprays is sufficient at EDP concentration. The mint opening fades quickly — the tonka and ambroxan heart is where this fragrance lives for most of the wear.
