Where the original Bloom established the white floral accord, Ambrosia di Fiori pushes it deeper and richer — the name translates as “ambrosia of flowers”, referencing the food of the Greek gods, and the concentration is Intense rather than standard EDP, meaning a higher fragrance oil load and a more substantial, longer-lasting presence on skin. Perfumer Alberto Morillas constructed the accord around jasmine bud and honeysuckle at the top, tuberose through the heart, and a base anchored by Damascena rose and orris root. Of the three Bloom flankers, this is the warmest and most substantial.

The Scent

The opening is jasmine bud and honeysuckle — jasmine bud specifically (rather than full-bloom jasmine absolute) tends to read lighter and slightly green, less indolic than fully opened jasmine; honeysuckle adds a sweet, nectar-like quality that reinforces the ambrosia theme. Tuberose dominates the heart: one of the more challenging white florals to work with, tuberose can read rubbery or medicinal at extremes, but in the Bloom context Morillas keeps it creamy and dense without tipping into excess. The base is where Ambrosia di Fiori Intense departs most clearly from its predecessors — the Damascena rose (a Bulgarian rose variety with a rich, complex, slightly spiced character) and orris root (which has a powdery, violet-adjacent, cosmetic quality) together produce a warm, velvety, slightly powdery dry-down that distinguishes this flanker from the fresher profile of the original Bloom.
