Within the Gucci Flora Gorgeous range, each fragrance takes a single floral and builds a complete world around it. Where Gorgeous Magnolia opens bright and fruity and Gorgeous Gardenia leans creamy and soft, Gorgeous Jasmine is the most overtly floral and the most classic of the three. The choice of Grandiflorum Jasmine is significant — Grandiflorum is the variety grown in Grasse and used in the highest-tier fine fragrances; it has a depth and richness that more common jasmine varieties don’t reach, and Gucci uses it as the undisputed centrepiece of this composition rather than blending it into the background.
Mandarin keeps the opening fresh and prevents the jasmine from feeling heavy on first contact; sandalwood in the base gives the whole fragrance a warm, creamy foundation that supports the jasmine as it develops on skin. How to Apply
Apply to pulse points — wrists, neck, décolletage. The Grandiflorum Jasmine opens fully within the first ten to fifteen minutes — the mandarin brightness fades and the jasmine and sandalwood take over for the rest of the wear.
